Where We Deliver
Fasting Food Made at Home, Not in a Factory
Gourmet Saad is a Lebanese home-cooking kitchen in Fanar, Mount Lebanon, run by Chef Mirna Saad since 2012. The fasting table is where simple ingredients matter most: lentils cooked properly, onions caramelised slowly, olive oil used generously. That is how we cook siyami dishes for you, and how our pumpkin kibbeh has always been made.
Lent Food in Lebanon: FAQs
What is siyami food?
Siyami (صيامي) is the Lebanese word for fasting food. During Lent it usually means dishes cooked without meat and dairy, built on lentils, beans, bulgur, vegetables and olive oil. Families keep the fast in different ways, so tell us on WhatsApp what yours avoids and we cook to that.
