Send Home-Cooked Meals to Your Parents in Lebanon from the UAE
You are a short flight away, but between work in Dubai and school runs you only get home a few times a year. Order during your lunch break in Dubai, and a real Lebanese tabkha, cooked that morning in Fanar by Chef Mirna Saad, is at your parents' door in Metn the next day. You arrange everything on WhatsApp; they just open the door.
Dubai Time vs Beirut Time
The UAE does not change its clocks; Lebanon does. Dubai is 2 hours ahead of Beirut in winter (late October to late March) and 1 hour ahead in summer.
- Message us the day before. A message at 1 pm in Dubai reaches our kitchen at 11 am or noon Beirut time, in plenty of time to plan the next morning's cooking.
- A midday delivery in Beirut is 2 pm in Dubai in winter, 1 pm in summer: the photo arrives during your working afternoon.
- Your weekend is not ours. The UAE works Monday to Friday and Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait Sunday to Thursday; we deliver Monday to Saturday Lebanon time, with no deliveries on Sunday.

- Send one WhatsApp message: your parents' area, how many days a week, and any dietary needs (low salt, soft food, diabetic-friendly).
- We reply with a week's menu and an itemised total, delivery included, before the first delivery.
- Payment is arranged with you individually on WhatsApp.
- We agree a delivery time with your parents directly, in Arabic, and send you a photo of every delivery.

The Weekly Family Plan, from $60 a week
Each delivery is one tanjara that serves 4 to 5 people, so one pot feeds both parents for about two days. You choose the days.

Ordering from the UAE: FAQs
What is the time difference between the UAE and Lebanon?
The UAE is on UTC+4 all year. Lebanon is UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer, so Dubai and Abu Dhabi are 2 hours ahead of Beirut from late October to late March, and 1 hour ahead the rest of the year. If you live in Riyadh, Doha or Kuwait (UTC+3), you share Lebanon's clock in summer and are 1 hour ahead in winter.
Can my parents call you directly?
Yes. They can call or WhatsApp the same number you use, in Arabic, to agree a delivery time, ask for a dish, or say they will be out. You stay in the loop on every change.
How do I get confirmation from Dubai that the food arrived?
We send you a WhatsApp photo of every delivery. A midday delivery in Beirut lands on your phone around 2 pm Dubai time in winter, or 1 pm in summer, often while you are still at work.
Can I pause the plan when we fly home for the summer?
Yes. Pause or skip any week with one message. Many UAE families spend July and August in Lebanon; you can pause, or keep the plan running and add a baked tray at menu prices for the full house.
How is payment arranged?
Payment is arranged with you individually on WhatsApp before the first delivery.
What if my parents live outside Fanar, Metn, Beirut or Jounieh?
Send us their area on WhatsApp. We will tell you honestly whether we can reach them, and what delivery costs there, before you commit to anything.
