For Lebanese Living Abroad
Send Home-Cooked Meals to Your Family in Lebanon
You live in Dubai, Paris, Montreal or Sydney. Your parents live in Lebanon. You call every day, you send money every month, and you still worry about whether they are eating properly. Gourmet Saad cooks a real Lebanese tabkha in Fanar every morning and delivers it to your family's door, on the days you choose. You order and pay from abroad on WhatsApp. They just open the door.
Weekly Family Plan
The Weekly Family Plan: home-cooked meals for your parents in Lebanon, from $60 a week
The Weekly Family Plan is a fixed weekly schedule of Lebanese home-cooked meals, cooked each morning in our Fanar kitchen and delivered to your family's door in Fanar, Metn, Beirut or Jounieh. Each delivery is one tanjara that serves 4 to 5 people, so one order feeds both parents for about two days. You choose the days, you order and pay from abroad on WhatsApp, and we send you a photo of each delivery.
| Plan | Deliveries | Serves | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-Day Plan | 3 tanjaras a week (for example Mon, Wed, Fri) | 4–5 people per delivery | from $60 / week |
| 5-Day Plan | 5 tanjaras a week (Mon to Fri) | 4–5 people per delivery | from $100 / week |
| 6-Day Plan | 6 tanjaras a week (Mon to Sat) | 4–5 people per delivery | from $120 / week |
| One-time gift | 1 tanjara or tray on a date you choose | 4–5 people | from $20 |
"From" prices are per week before delivery, which depends on the area. Add a baked tray, fattoush or sambousek by the dozen at menu prices. You receive an itemised total on WhatsApp before the first delivery; payment is arranged with you individually on WhatsApp.

How It Works From Abroad
Tell us who the meals are for, where in Lebanon they live, which days of the week, and any dietary needs. Any time zone, we answer in English, French or Arabic.
You get an itemized weekly total: dishes, days, delivery. No surprises. We also confirm the first delivery date.
We agree the payment method with you on WhatsApp before the first delivery. Pay weekly or monthly, whichever is easier.
We coordinate the delivery time with your family directly and message you when each meal is delivered. Photo on request.
Who Orders Meals for Family in Lebanon
Parents living alone
Your mother or father is in Metn or Beirut, cooking for one is a chore, and you want them to eat a proper meal every day without standing at the stove.
A parent recovering from illness
After surgery or a hospital stay, light home cooking matters. We adapt the dishes: low salt, soft food, no fried items.
Grandparents with the grandchildren
School holidays or a long visit. A family tanjara feeds everyone at the table so Teta does not spend the day in the kitchen.
A one-time gift
Mother's Day (March 21), a birthday, Christmas, Easter or Eid. Send a tanjara or a tray with a message from you.
Where We Deliver
Our kitchen is in Fanar. We deliver on a fixed schedule, Monday to Saturday, to:
Fanar, Ain Saade, Mansourieh, Beit Mery, Jdeideh, Sin el Fil, Dekwaneh, Antelias, Jal el Dib, Zalka and the rest of Metn are our home ground. Beirut and Jounieh are on set delivery days. If your family lives further, ask us. We will tell you honestly whether we can reach them rather than promise and miss.
What Your Family Will Eat
The same tabkha yawmiye Lebanese families cook at home, rotated through the week so no dish repeats. A typical week:
Why Families Abroad Trust Gourmet Saad
Chef Mirna Saad has cooked for Fanar and Metn families since 2012. Your parents can call the same number you message.
Stews, stuffed vegetables and oven dishes cooked that morning. The food your mother would cook if she had the energy.
A WhatsApp message after every delivery. Change the days, pause a week, or add a tray for a visitor with one message.
Ordering From Abroad: FAQs
How do I order meals for my family in Lebanon from abroad?
Send us a WhatsApp message from wherever you live. Tell us who the meals are for, where they live, how many days a week, and any dietary needs. We confirm the schedule with you, arrange payment, and then coordinate delivery times directly with your family in Lebanon.
How can I pay from outside Lebanon?
We arrange payment with you individually on WhatsApp. Families abroad have several ways to pay us, and a relative in Lebanon can also pay on delivery. We confirm the method and the total with you before the first delivery. There are no card payments on this website.
Where in Lebanon do you deliver?
We cook in Fanar and deliver on a fixed schedule to Fanar, Metn, Beirut and Jounieh. If your family lives outside these areas, ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach them.
How much does a weekly meal plan cost?
Meals are priced per tanjara, a pot that serves 4 to 5 people, from $20 depending on the dish. A three-day week starts around $60 and a five-day week around $100, plus delivery depending on the area. We send you an itemized total before you pay.
What do my parents receive each day?
A freshly cooked Lebanese tabkha: a stew (yakhneh) with rice, a baked dish such as kibbeh bil saniyeh, or stuffed vegetables, cooked that morning in our Fanar kitchen. We rotate the dishes through the week so they do not eat the same thing twice.
Can you cook for elderly parents with dietary restrictions?
Yes. Tell us on WhatsApp if they need low salt, low fat, soft food, no spice, or diabetic-friendly dishes, and we adapt the week's menu. We cook the way Lebanese grandmothers cook, so simple, light dishes are our strength.
How do I know the food arrived?
We send you a WhatsApp message when each delivery is made. If you want, we also send a photo. Your family can reach us directly on the same number for any change in timing.
Can I send meals as a gift for one occasion instead of every week?
Yes. Many expats send a tanjara or a tray for Mother's Day, a birthday, Christmas, Easter, Eid, or when a parent is recovering from illness. Order on WhatsApp a day or two ahead and tell us the date.
